Seven Score and Seven Years Ago

Today, November 19th, is the day Abraham Lincoln made his famous Gettysburg Address. That was in 1863, which means he said “four score and seven years ago”  seven score and seven years ago today.

Two years ago, I asked the crew of the USS Abraham Lincoln to recite the Gettysburg Address while the ship was doing flight operations off the coast of San Diego. Here is the little film I put together on what was then the 200th birthday of our 16th president.
